Hallie, age 6, was born a healthy baby, at the age 18 months she started having seizures. She was having so many that doctors said she would never be OK.. they told us to accept that she would be a sick child. Hallie at that moment looked at the doctors at 2 years old and said.. “do you know God? He will heal me.” Shortly after that we found an amazing Dr and while Hallie isn’t healed completely, she has 1-2 seizures a month instead of 16-18 a day! There was times when Drs told us to expect a child who would never walk or talk.
Hallie, now a 1st grader, plays basketball and is involved in both cheerleading, gymnastics. She is a very smart and blessed little girl who never lets anything get her down. You will always see Hallie with a smile on her face!!
Hallie has been though more in her 6 years here than most grown adults, but she never gives up.
On Dec 22, 2013 we was driving to a Christmas party… Hallie had just fallen asleep as we came up on a muffler. We could not get over it we so ran over the muffler. It caught our gas tank and the car went up into flames meaning all four doors were on fire. Hallie was the last in the car.. she should not be alive.. She was burned on her face and arm, had to have skin graft surgery but if you would have seen this car, NONE of us should have been alive…
Within a second of Hallie getting out the car, it exploded. But Hallie was safe.
Hallie is going to be great things when she is older. Her story has already touched so many lives and we pray it has touched yours.
